Vybrané výsledky výzkumu akademických pracovníků veřejných vysokých škol

The authors provide first results of their analysis of data from the survey of university teachers carried out in 2005. The show that majority of university teachers would support the implementation of the investment principle in financing higher education, which would increase both the responsibility of students and accountability of schools. The results also show that there is strong support to the reform of financing research which widen cooperation between universities and private sector (firms) leading to a stronger orientation on the applied research.
