The aim of the project is to develop and systemize empirical findings and create applicable results that in the form of practical principles and procedures of social communication and participative decision-making will contribute to non-conflict deliberation on geologic repository siting process in the Czech Republic, in terms of all aspects of realization and in terms of the opinion aspects of all relevant actors. Sub-objectives of the project are: 1) To monitor the activities of individual actors and their impact on the course of the siting process. 2) To obtain empirical data enabling comprehensive examination of the opinions, attitudes, knowledge, values, behaviours, understanding the motivation of actors in the process of deliberation on the geologic repository. 3) Detailed analytical data evaluation in a view of the initial concept of the geological repository realization aspects the resulting knowledge will serve as an objective and widely available source of information. 4) Systematic implementation of empirical sociological knowledge into the principles and specific practices of social communication and participatory decision-making among all the most important stakeholders of the geologic repository deliberation.
