Focus
Zuzana Uhde specializes in social and feminist theory, critical migration and border studies and research of global interactions. Uhde’s expertise includes Critical Theory and transnational migration, bordering processes and global migration management, feminist theories of care and transnational social reproduction, unconditional basic income. Her current research revolves around interdisciplinary analyses of transnational migration, political-economic and technopolitical production of bordering processes, structural injustice, migrant care workers and marketisation of care, with a regional expertise focused on East Central Europe and Eastern Africa. She is a member of the management committee of the COST network Data Matters (DATAMIG) and its WG1 Inventory Coordination group.
