Focus

Zuzana Uhde specializes in social and feminist theory and research of global interactions. Uhde’s expertise includes Critical Theory and transnational migration, feminist theories of care and transnational social reproduction, unconditional basic income. Her current research revolves around interdisciplinary analyses of transnational migration, bordering processes and structural injustice, migrant care workers and commodification of care, with a regional expertise focused on Central Europe and Eastern Africa. She is a research fellow in the research programme Global Conflicts and Local Interactions (Strategy AV21).
