The chapter identifies the main groups of households endangered by the decrease in financial affordability of housing in the Czech Republic during the transitional period. The current state-of-art of both national and local housing policies aiming to help those target groups are described and analyzed. The description is followed by the recommendation of the reform in the field of rental housing proved by the presented results of extensive policy simulations.
