Kde je v Česku periferní venkov?

Bernard, Josef, Šimon, Martin. 2018.

The basic aim of the chapter is delimitation of peripheral areas representing rural regions characterized by worsened living conditions or increased levels of various forms of social disadvantage. For this purpose, we use existing statistical data collected by the Czech Statistical Office or various state administration bodies available for small territorial units. The approach to defining peripheral regions is based on the assumption that the concept of disadvantage is multidimensional. There are several different dimensions of peripherality defined as a concentrated disadvantage in rural areas.
