Klasifikace sociálních tříd a statusu

The article is devoted to a concept of measurement of social position based on occupation, which was applied in a range of analyses in the book Nerovnost, spravedlnost, politika (Inequality, Justice and Politics). Three characteristics based on ISCO 88 and 'subjective' indicators of social position are descripted and compared. Classification EGP represents class concept of social structure, while international scale of occupational prestige SIOPS and international index of occupational status ISEI are based on the stratification approach.
