The paper is based on the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from the research into sexual harassment in a higher education in the CR and discusses the causes of the gap between the high prevalence rates of sexual harassment and a low proportion of students who label their experience with a certain types of sexualized or sexist conduct as sexual harassment. The Perception and Construction of Sexual Harassment by University Students: the Case of the Czech Republic
The paper focuses on perceptions and constructions of sexual harassment by students and the gap between students’ individual definitions and expert definitions of sexual harassment. The paper centres on two main research questions: i) how do studentsperceive sexual harassment and ii) what are the factors and dimensions that contribute to particular behaviour being labelled assexual harassment? Částečné úvazky v České republice: šance nebo riziko?
The findings reveal the ambivalent nature of part-time work in the Czech Republic. On one hand, part-time contracts are used in terms of positive flexibility – as a tool for women to combine working life with care for small children. On the other hand, the results show, that part-time work is predominant among groups marginalized in the labour and these jobs are therefore associated with lower level of security and higher risk of poverty. …

The paper focuses on the differences between marriage and unmarried cohabitations in the terms of their stability. We study the impact of various factors on the stability of marriages and unmarried cohabitations taking into account the different socio-demographic indicators.
