Kostelecký, Tomáš, Mikešová, Renáta, Bernard, Josef. 2018. Praha: Sociologické nakladatelství SLON / Sociologický ústav AV ČR v.v.i.. 244. The chapter examines the geographic factors that influence supply and demand for different types of secondary schools, and the results that secondary school students achieve in state school-leaving examinations. The authors show that Czech regions differ from each other by the structure of supply of secondary school education, but also by the demand for different types of education. However, regional differences in educational outcomes are relatively low when the results of students from the same type of school are compared.
