To celebrate this special occasion the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is planning to hold an anniversary celebration.
The Institute of Sociology will host this celebration for current andpast employees, and friends and guests of the Institute on 12 December2005 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Hybernská ul. 18 in Prague 1.
The anniversary will also be marked by an exhibition on the history andthe current work of the Institute of Sociology. The exhibition will beheld in the Sociological Library at Jilská 1 in Prague 1, opening on 15December 2005, and everyone is warmly invited tovisit.
A number of other events commemorating the anniversary are also plannedand will be announced over the course of the coming year.
