DigiWELL is a project funded by the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme (OP JAK) under the Excellent Research scheme (PI Steriani Elavsky, University of Ostrava). DigiWELL addresses research challenges in key areas of the rapidly evolving field of digital technologies aimed at supporting physical, psychological, and social wellbeing. The project is interdisciplinary and consists of six research objectives (ROs). The implementation team includes experts in psychology, media studies and communication, kinanthropology, sociology, social work, mental health, public health, statistics, and computer science. The team from the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences collaborates on Research Objective 5, which focuses on international research. Specifically, it is responsible for the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) research. In 2024, as part of this project, the ISSP 2024 – Digital Societies empirical survey was conducted.
