The contribution aims at theoretical as well as general determination of the framework in which the process of articulation of interest with a stress on agricultural sector takes place. This framework is further applied on the analysis of empirical material. Do young people measure happiness by the number of kilometres logged?

This article examines travel as a form of consumption behaviour. It begins by presenting some of the ideas outlined in Gilles Lipovetsky’s Le bonheur paradoxal. Then, using tourism statistics and statements of young people recorded in a qualitative study, it looks at how much Lipovetsky’s ideas can be inspirational for interpreting the attitudes of young Czechs towards travel.…

Based on the Czech quantitative data from European Social Survey Round 2 the author presents a typology of people based on their a) opinion of not paying taxes and b) their own experiences with not paying taxes. The article illustrates that attitudes always do not reflect the real behavior.
