It has been argued that changes in funding sources and structures have greatly affected contours of Czech women’s organizing. Regionální rozdíly ve volebních výsledcích v České republice – parlamentní volby 1996-2006

The article deals with voting patterns of major political parties in the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic between 1996 and 2006. The results of analyses prove that major Czech political parties have quite stable voting patterns. The most of spatial variation in electoral preferences can be attributed to structural differences among districts. Key underlying factors explaining spatial variation of party electoral results are of socio-economic nature.…

The paper deals with the analysis of socio-economic and infrastructural differences of small commu¬nities disposing of their own local government and communities which form a part of a bigger mu¬nicipality and don’t dispose therefore of their own local government. The authors seek an answer to the question what impact has the administrative status of a community on its development. Ovlivňuje finanční (ne)dostupnost bydlení porodnost v České republice

The article examined relations between statistic housing financial affordability and demographic behavior in regions of the Czech Republic. The conducted analyses proved that the lower is housing affordability in region the higher is the average age of mothers and the lower is the total fertility rate. However, housing affordability influence more timing of the childbearing than the total fertility rate.…

This article examines the electoral results of the Czech Green Party in the 2010 elections to the lower house of the Czech Parliament, placing those results in both historical and sociological perspective.
