Focus
I specialize in the anthropology of science, technology, and medicine. Within the project Technocultures of Extended Metabolism, I focus on the topic of obesity and its treatment. In the project Beyond Security: Role of Conflict in Resilience-Building, I examine new food technologies and alternative protein sources in the context of the transition toward more ecologically sustainable forms of production and consumption.
