The Gender Revolution in an Islamic Society: Staqlled or a Still unfolding?

How to make sense of very unreliable and incomplete data

Harry B.G. Ganzeboom

The presentation explores the development of gender role attitudes in an Islamic society, using data from Pakistan. It Gender role attitudes are typically measured as a multi-indicator construct, yet the indicators often differ across survey projects and waves. The presentation demonstrates how these measurement inconsistencies can be addressed through the application of measurement models within Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
