Although there is a range of supporting materials that address gender equality plans (GEPs) and their parameters in detail, they are usually aimed at research-performing organisations and overlook the specific situation of funding providers. The aim of this guide is therefore to present the basic principles of developing GEPs and to explain the mandatory parameters of these plans required under Horizon Europe. The document is intended not only to enable gender equality plans in funding-provider organisations to comply with the relevant policies, but above all to provide a basic framework for systematising measures that will contribute to positive changes in the environment of Czech research and beyond.
