Firstly, it answers the question if unmarried cohabitations are becoming more popular and who prefer it. Can we explain an increase of non-marital fertility by the spread of unmarried cohabitations? This article is a reaction to a study published in the last issue of Political Science Review about the application of the Katz and Mair theory of cartel party to the Czech experience. Conversovy proměnné stále platí aneb Co ovlivňuje sílu vazeb mezi politickými postoji?

This study explores the sources of attitude constraints regarding the role of government in the economy using ISSP 2006. This research confirms that the sources of attitude constraint in the Czech Republic are similar to that observed in Western Europe and the USA. Specifically, class, education, and other social-demographic variables are shown to have very limited effects. Jak měřit stranickou identifikaci?

This study has two main aims. First, it explores the two main methods used in the Czech Republic to operationalize the concept of party identification. Second this study demonstrates the merits of both methods.
