Kraje v České republice – existují souvislosti mezi ekonomickým rozvojem, sociálním kapitálem a výkonem krajských vlád?

Článek prezentuje výsledky empirického výzkumu zaměřeného na odhalení možných souvislostí mezi úrovní sociálního kapitálu, ekonomickou výkonností a výkonem vlády na úrovni krajů v České republice. Analýzy nepotvrzují hypotézu o pozitivních korelacích mezi sledovanými proměnnými. Ukazuje se ovšem, že významný pozitivní vliv na všechny sledované proměnné má úroveň lidského kapitálu, měřeného vzdělaností populace krajů. …

Statistical and sociological surveys are used to show the long-term development in earnings disparities. A considerable equalisation in wages occurred in three phases: the first one occurred during the Nazi occupation, then in the 1945-1948 period and finally after the post-Communist victory.
